I got my car insurance renewal today. Its shot up $600 to $2614.56

Can anyone recommend a car insurance company? Im a foreign national and ive ben driving since 1997. But since I got my car here it looks like I have only been driving for one year.

I heard from my broker that Insurance rates maybe going up by 40%.
So get ready for your renewal rates to go up.

that was from that soft tissue damage crap with the government.. i think it got bailed on..

ING were the only ins compnay that would honour my no claims from abroad when i came to calgary. They still give me a good rate each year. Id at least check with them. Though i am through a broker with them.

Im with ING too. They have taken my one years no claim from my Insurers back in the UK. Ive done mine through a broker with them too. But the renewal is $2600! Its $600 up! TD said they would insure me for $125 less.

Dumb question, do I have to tell my insurers that I have changed my brake lights to OEM Hellas?
