  • Flex drill bit

I need to cut across studs in my house and want to do it without having to cut really big holes in my dry wall. Anyone know where to get a flex drill bit? or anything that would be able to do that.

    Re: Flex drill bit

i think you are looking for a right angle adapter. i dont know what their technical name is, but i have seen them before.
it's basically an adapter that attaches to the drill head, and has a joint in it, converts the spinning on the X axis to the Y axis at a 90 degree bend, then the drill but goes into the other end.

No idea where to get it though.

Yeah I thought about getting ones of those, I know you can get drill bits that you can direct where they go. I think I am just going to cut some dry wall out and get it patched.

saw 2 90° adapters at house of tools today. 11$-35%. Pioneer brand, probably not the greatest, but probably good enough
