That is real friction tape, and the adhesive wont dry out like hockey tape. So if you do a custom wire harness, or modify your existing harness and expect it to hold up to 10+ yrs of service, that this is definately the way to go. Plus it is extremely hard to find automotive friction tape locally in my experience.
Anyway shouldn't you be using white hockey tape to match your wheels and roof?
Sure wish I knew about these guys when I needed this stuff in the past. Not that I bought it from ECS, but I got some through a buddy who works at a dealership.
Just out of curiosity, instead of tape for a wiring harness, does anyone use plastic loom? We use it all the time at work for the wiring harnesses on diesel motors.
