I read this on Vortex, had me in stitches..

awkward car moments......
so this is by far the most awkward car moment i have ever had...

basically, i pick up strangers in my car in order to take advantage of the HOV-3 thats on I95 during rush hour (takes me 1 hr to get home vs 2+ hours on regular)

so last week, i pull up to the commuter line, and tharrr she blows... waiting 1st in line is a lady, that i would give about 275 pounds on an empty stomach. I pick her up, had no choice, and 2 others. she fell into the car, i heard my seat creak while she tried fitting in. i was silenced

things got interesting when i went to stop for the first time, and it took a little longer than expected.
things got even more interesting when I noticed my car was pulling to the right.
things got awkward when i went to shift into 5th gear. why? because the shifter rubbed against her leg. her leg actually overflowed over the center console, and was into shifter territory. I could not believe it. i had lost 5th and 6th gear, and my right side mirror. luckily enough i only had to use 5th and 6th while on the highway, so i didnt have to touch her much, but man that first touch just made me go . I lost my mirror because her stomach was so big, it went all the way up, almost covering it, and when the put her hands on top of it, it all went away. i was silenced by now.

and to top it all off, when i got home, i noticed my consumption was 24 mpg's rather than the usual 28 i get. she probably ate that too.
