1) MB - Drivers who value comfort and luxuriousness over driver involvement
2) BMW - Drivers who value driver involvement but also just want the BMW badge
3) Audi - Drivers who value build quality and great design (but also becoming the trendy marque to own)
1) MB- drivers who value luxury
2) bmw- drivers who value sporty heritage and name brand/logo
3) Audi- drivers who value quality, luxury and design (but yes becoming trendy too)
from an enthusiasts point (myself)
1) MB- different car to own as not many out there but can stand out in a crowd when modded
2) BMW- some owners think their shiz don't stink but most enthusiasts love the heritage (not saying owners here are like that btw)
3) Audi- owners who value quattro and build quality (like myself)
MB owners (well if it has to be done do it)
BMW (can you ring my 7 plastic cards thru to pay a 400.00 bill)
Audi (I'am selling the car and buying a BMW)
Volvo (it's all good i want to see my odometer hit 1 million)

MB: I just want to have the star on my hood/grille and enjoy the comfort ride
BMW: I am 50 years old, but I feel like I am 25
Audi: How much power would this chip gain for my car?
Where are you guys getting quality from when talking about Audi?
Yeah they have nice designs and have great interiors, but they are not very reliable. Usually quality and reliability go hand in hand.....this is not the case.
1- MB- Older or middle-aged people who are disgusted with rowing their own gears drive these. They want luxury and quality.
2- Bimmers- Owners seem to be of a few different groups: performance minded enthusiasts and tuners, uber-snob commuters who tailgate and drive like total a$$hats thinking they own the road, and sheep trendies. I think anyone reading this probably belongs to the first group.
3- 4Ringers- All of the above groups are part of this crowd. Seem to be the trendy car of choice lately (Audi DRL LED's are the new "altezza" tail light fad, by the way.) Audis seem to be every bit as popular as Bimmers with the modder / tuner crowd. I may get shot for saying this, but Audis are built more for comfort and luxury than performance. If you spend enough money, you can change the bias more towards sport, but it is what it is, and you probably shoulda bought a Bimmer.
Stereotype version:
1- My car has a superior quantity of automatic gears in its transmission than all others. Manual transmissions are for people who did not work hard enough to afford automated ones. They make them in another color besides silver?
2- What's a turn signal? I can read your mind and will anticipate when you will brake; that is why I follow so close. Get the hell out of my way, you in your loser-mobile. Sorry, I've got another call.....I'll call you back later. Home of the original "angel eyes": the rest of you posers need a life.
3- I measure my car by how many stages of boost it has. How can I defeat all factory settings using my secret weapon: the Vag-Com? I'm a nerd. Quattro has overcome the laws of physics and can make me invincable! We own the other "Type-R" cars.
