On my way to Tokyo last week I had a 8 hour layover in Sea-Tac airport beginning at 8:30am. While I did pull an all nighter the night prior to try and mess up my sleep schedule so I would be able to sleep all the way to Tokyo, I really didn't want to spend all day in the damn airport. So myself and the buddies I was travelling with decided to rent a car for the day ($35) and head downtown to check out the sights. None of them had been to Seattle before, and while I have been many times, it had definetly been a while.
