I was just in France, I grabbed a 3L box of wine for 7Euro. It was actually IMO a good wine. Now to be honest I don't have a lot of experience in Wine drinking, but I liked the taste of it, and it didn't taste like Glycol so it is a win-win.

What we like to do is go to J.Webb at either Glenmore or the Farmer's market and tell them you would like a case of wine, and then give them your price range, likes dislikes and have them put together a case for you. We have found some of our favorite wines doing this. I think they will also give you a discount.

We drink mostly reds, but enjoy the occasional white. Try Evolution from Oregon if you want to try a white. It comes in editions, not years and is very good.

Last time a bought Larose it was at Willow Park, but I am not sure if they still have it.

We have been digging on the Malbecs lately, but also like the occasional Pinotage.

I am also a bit of a beer geek, and a gin geek as well. I think I may have a problem.

a few wines that I have enjoyed:

Clos Saint Jean, Châteauneuf Du Pape 2005
          Bodegas Alto Moncayo.
Craggy Range,Te Muna Road, Pinot Noir
          Duckhorn Decoy Napa Valley

I have not had Black Hills' Nota Bene I know it gets bought up like crazy but have been told there is much better ways of spending your money at that price range. I have had Mission Hill Oculus it was alright nothing out of this world.

I personally really enjoy Sumac Ridge wine but do to the very small demand for it we don't carry any of there stuff.
