Clearcoat probably will do the same thing if you had a bunch of coats done

yea its interesting.. i was looking at rage2 on beyonds.. m3 he had the whole car resprayed and then 3m'd the ENTIRE car!!

Not whole hood.........kits range from 12-24" depending on model.

sorry but this or 3m isn't gonna help if the rock is decent size. i had a rock dent my hood before and it hit the 3m. fine, no paint chip, but a clear dent was still present.

depends on the car, they are pre-cut kits specific to the car i've seen 24" on smaller cars.....just depends what you have

i saw an e90 3 series at a dealership and the 3m on the hood was giant, easily 2x bigger than mine
