Getting Rims painted?

Does anyone know a good place to have a set of rims painted? I'm debating having my Axis Pentas painted (not sure what color yet, haven't thought that far ahead).

Has anyone had rims painted? How much did it cost and how long did it take?

I'm going to give a couple body shops a call tomorrow and see what I can dig up, but I was curious if anyone had already had it done. Thanks!

Well I'm actually not sure.. I know vaguely what powder coating is, but I don't know what the advantages or disadvantages are compared painting.

I would look into powder coating, call some powder coating shops or best bet, go down there and they will have samples you can look at.

We use Silverline in Airdrie weekly.......great work, great prices.

Powder coating is put on my using and electro static charge then baking the painted item. It usually give a much stronger and durable finish then regular painting.

Just contacted Calgary Powder Coating over the weekend and they charge $75/wheel to refinish a wheel. I might take my set of LB's down before I put them back on the Jetta.
