work, work, more work, a little work, some drinking, hockey, cars, xbos, working out, work....

i average 65 hours a week, which i hope to tone down this year slightly but i really do love what i do

65 hours a week must be nice..but seriously have we all become workaholics.

i was open christmas day and newyears just to catch up.
This Saturday Night i'am load'ing up my 3 boys and my ugly dog,5lb's of bacon and 8 cans of beans and some biscuits.(Cowboy Camping in the Log House with no heat and only 3 walls)
as for the wife it's arts and craft weekend for the girls.

the sad thing is 65 is an average....it can be as high as 85-90 when we are in court and things like that. it's definetly not healthy, and i started to see the effects of that before christmas.
everyone talks about a work life balance, but it actually is extremely important both for your mental health, but also your physical health.

I am abou tthe same as most guys on here, work, work, work some more, maybe a little more, get some food, come back to work. On weekends, I work, work a little more, sleep then work. My hobbys include working on cars which I do at work so I am happy most of my days When I'm not working I am doing absolutly nothing.

Damn, Rondals work schedule sounds alot like mine does, workweeks are generally in the 70-90hr dep't. No time for life any more, all of my hobbies like cars, snowboarding, mountainbiking, camping/hiking have been on the back burner for some time now. But you just got to look at the light at the end of the tunnel, otherwise I'd have climbed up the old clocktower with a high powered rifle long ago, freedom 35 baby!

Work 4 days a week Mon -Thurs. 3 day weekend. spend time with the baby which is lots of fun, occassional work Sundays (only 3 weeks holidays so far tho)

Add another one to the workaholics section... 7 days a week, 10-15 hours a day.

Some day I hope to have enough money to buy a life, everyday I work it gets more expensive though so its always one more day..

So a while back I was talking about starting Jui jUitsu. Well This week I'm starting with it (wed, fri, sun's) Also, I've decided to take up an instrument so mondays I'll be starting guitar lessons. Just wondering what very one is into and what your extra curricular activities may be.

I've also quit smoking, and have begun a nutritional plan. Any new years resolutions from the rest of ya?
