for those that have tackled this i'm about to finish my garage and i need to start on the ceiling.. i have it semi insulated right now (leftovers from the walls)
anyways i calculated my ceiling square footage and i'm going to buy some R40 bags and go to town there..
onto the drywall. how hard is it to do the ceilings? do i need to rent the lift dealy or use my head to balance it?
should i buy the bigger 4x12 sheets or just stick to 4x8? doing the math they are all in 1-2$ of each other for the amount i need..
and since my door opener is obviously already there should i unbolt it from the studs and then put up the drywall and reattach to the drywall and stud or can you simply go around it then like spray mono foam or something around the openings and fill with drywall filler?
