  • New Daily Driver...

Decided to suprise my wife on our anniversary today with a new car for her:

2009 Nissan Rogue AWD - I took it for a test drive and was pleasantly suprised.

          Congrats!!!

The interior looks good.....the exterior is a little bland. Did you test drive some if its competitors?

LOL - That's awesome! Wish mine had that kind of mileage.

Actually it only powered by a small 2.5l, but has a CVT transmission with paddle shifters....which is good because my wife can't drive standard. Test driving the CVT was somewhat odd at first since all my previous cars have been stick. The power definitely isn't overwhelming, but as a city daily driver it's more than enough to have some fun. I looked at the CR-V and Rav4, but couldn't get past the look of either. The other choice was an 07 FWD A4, but I wanted something AWD.

I've been in more Nissans in the last couple months than I have in years, I must say, they seem to make a good vehicle. A co-worker bought an 08 Altima with the CVT and really likes it, the car has every option and was a reasonable price. Also had my bosses Pathfinder for a few days and driven both an 08 and 09 Titan.

All that to say, I really liked all of them so you can't go wrong with a Nissan.
