    98 2.8L A4 with 193 XXXkms on it, auto.

    As reliable as Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes, Ford, GM.... at that age you will be having things break on a regular basis usually small but i would not be surprised if big items fail. Wear and tear.

    If it has been well maintained you should be fine for a while, but have a good look over the car. I think it will need a timing belt job again, and with the V6's its not easy front end must be taken off, and getting it done at the shop it will cost you . I dont know anything about the auto transmissions.

      its not a bad car i have one . its not an enthusiest audi . due to its lack of tuning and performance mods . but if you just want a car to roll arround in its good . the v6 heats up fast in winter

        And it also likes to blow out camplugs when the pcv ices up.
