    laser printer

    i want to buy the wife a printer for christmas, and i know next to nothing about them. the things i know she will use it for a week straight then not for 3 months so the ink has to be ok. she will probably be printing pictures alot. we have a imac and a macbook pro.

    the problem is we set a $100 limit on gifts (we just bought a puppy), now i'm pretty sure i'll be well over that but thats not a big deal. she is a graphic designer so she will be picky on quality.
    any advice would be nice, normally for computer stuff i tell her what i want it to and she picks it out so i'm screwed with out her help. haha

    Colour laser $130 so only a little over your limit. You can get B/W laser for about half the price. Laser is the way to go for once in a while printing in my opinion. If you want really good quality though you are going to be spending a lot more.

      i'm pretty sure she said the next printer would be a laser printer. that's a good place for me to start thanks. and yes i'd only get color
