Well, Sutter better keep his track record of making it the playoffs. I want to feel up beat, but I can't. I thought last year would be a turning point, but alas.

haha I agree i like the oilers way better.. although I get box tickets all the time for flames games so I went to a few games last year but dont' remember the end of them other than I usually won the bets and had to go to work the next day smelling like jack and coke :P

          Flames have no chance.

All I wanted last season was for a Canadian city to win the cup. With Vancouver and Ottawa and Toronto all having amazing teams, it was such a let down. I don't know if I can get my hopes up again this year.

Hmm Oilers better this year? Dont think so. Especially when Comrie just left to train in Michigan and is going to hold out. Well at least he'll be the same size as the little boys. muhahaha.

I hope the Flames do well, but I don't see anything really changing. Once again we will be just short of the Play-offs :(

We will be better, Sutter is a coach who can control his players, we picked up some big defense to jam up the neutral zone and we should now move to the trap, we did the trap before while we were the best in the NHL, then things went sideways and people lost faith, but Sutter can keep them in line. I think they should at least be in playoff contention though.

Personally, I think the trap is the destruction of the NHL... It may be effective, but it's also REALLY boring hockey :(

At this point, I would rather watch a good boring Flames team win games than an exciting gritty losing Flames team. Actually losing has gotten really boring.

Before I die, one wish of mine is to see a Flames Playoff game.

What is it with the flames organization's pbsession with Sutters? The flames' problem starts at the top. We need a new owner to come in and weigh the benefits of spending a large amount of money to get things RIGHT in the first place, as opposed to trying quick fixes like another sutter or a washed up goalie.
