I personally thought Drive was fantastic, not really a movie about driving but really about the driver himself; just had a great vibe with the music and everything, my thoughts anyway.

Now Hot Tub Time Machine can put a smile on my face no matter what, love that movie!!

Hoping to get out to Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy this weekend looks amazing.

I thought that they pushed the storyline of the nascar driver without developing it, it screwed up my mind.

watched a classic last night, Trading Places with eddie murphy and dan aykroyd, one of my favorite comedys and it is even a bit of a christmas movie too!

Really? Maybe we're a minority then, but I thought the movie was just awful. 20 minute movie with an hour and 15 mins of people awkwardly staring at each other without saying a word. Also didnt help that I had no clue what the movie was about till the last 30 mins. Agreed it wasnt a movie about driving, but the way the storyline was developing, it seemed as though it was a movie about some guy who does random things in his life.

The only complaint I had of the movie was the engine sounds. They don't sync.

Other than that I really liked it.

On the weekend I had a little bit of a movie binge.

Was coerced into watching, No Strings Attached, then out interest of how there could be two movies with the same plot released at the same time, I watched Friends with benefits. Still don't understand how two studios released two identical films.

The studios talk and release the same theme from time to time. Almost like a game to see which one is better and who makes more money...... examples would be Deep impact and Armageddon in '98, Orange County and Stealing Harvard '02, Antz and A Bug's Life, Saving Private Ryan and The Thin Red Line, Dante's Peak and Volcano, Mission to Mars and Red Planet.........

Finally watched Bridesmaids... worst movie I have watched in a long long time. I was so freaken slow in spots and all the rest of the plot seemed really over worked.

Third on Bridesmaids being a dumb shitty movie probably the worst movie i saw last year and i watch a lot of crap movies.

But people who think movies like Meet the Parents 1thru9 are funny will probably like it as its unoriginal uninspired and itarded

I thought it was pretty funny (Bridesmaids) but I think you have to appreciate some of the awkward humor that is present in the parts that some people refer to as slow or boring. Not saying it was the greatest and it is still a romantic comedy with some more gross humor on top, but I think it has some good moments and I am a fan of the Brit's who made up some of the supporting cast (Matt Lucas - Little Britain and Chris O'Dowd - The IT Crowd). I guess this is why comedy's are not reflected in awards too much, sense of humor is too subjective and personal.

I really hope Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy comes out this week, the release on it is ridiculous, been out almost a month and only playing in 57 theaters across North America (I only spend a bit of my time on the subject of movies).
