The Thing 1982

to this day the special effects are still awesome.

My girlfriend is working on the new prequel coming out soon, looks good.

Star Trek. The camera work and visual effects still blow me away.

Robinson Crusoe On Mars
I found it on netflix while looking for some old school space movies. I like these old space movies because its neat to see what they thought the future would be like. specially with computers. But you get to see a monkey in a space suit, so its totally worth it.

Seriously! If I wanted to hear a crying baby for 2335 hours, I wouldn't bother wearing condoms. What an absolutely horrible movie. All this talk about how great it is and blah blah blah. Well how do you hear anyone praise this movie when you have a headache from listening to a baby cry for the entire thing?

Dragon Slayer
Wow, I made it all the way through this garbage. I don't know why they wanted to kill the dragon in the first place. Whe main sorcerer guy doesn't make any sense and he keeps coming and going. I am pretty sure they forgot the order of the story during editing and guessed at putting it together. It doesn't make much sense. Don't watch it.

Kick'n It Old School
This kid ends up in a comma after a break dancing stunt fails. 20 years later he wakes up and has to live the life of an adult. Gets his old friends together and they form a dance group to win a price. It is very silly but real funny.

It is very similar in the style of Mirror Mask. Kind of a dark fairy tale with a little Hairy Potter on acid. It is slow moving, but good if you have nothing else to watch.

Forbidden Planet
If you are going to watch an old 60's sci-fi movie, this is it! It has the sexy, barely dressed victim. The cheesy special effects. No computers, just lots of dials. An awesome huge robot, that makes alcohol and the bottle with a label. Its just awesome!
