simple, post your favorite stretch of road in our outside of Calgary and by all means recommend those that are less popular!




mine= deerfoot south after barlow AKA The Autobahn, anderson west from deerfoot north, anderson south to deerfoot south, and of course 17th ave after 7pm

Cant remember the name, but a very twisty, narrow road up behind cop which connects to the highway. Also highway 22 west which goes out past elbow falls makes for a nice sunday drive.

Speeding on the deerfoot is risky nowadays. Overpass speedtraps, alberta sheriff's, unmarked cps interceptors, not to mention all of the traffic .

Could be Old Banff Coach Road? I don't know the name for sure but I know the road you're talking about.

This is just a little outside of Calgary........ The Healy pass in Ireland. Last drove it almost 2 years ago now. Around hear, the road I like is the one that parallel's the trans canada to Canmore. Can't remember the name, it's the one that goes, thru Exshaw and past Lafarge.

highway 6 south of waterton into montana mountains was amazing to drive us. tons of twisties

old banff coach is great

and i love the road up to norquay! oh sweet memories lol

I believe your talking about the 1A there, I haven't been down it in some time but as long as the roads in good shape it pretty good for sure. I also like Highway 762 which is the shortcut between bragg creek and Millarville, quite a few good twisty's but it's pretty short ~10kms, so you just have to run it a few times.

That would be 1A, i have a client out there and take 1A instead of 16 for the fun of that road

yea 1a from cochrane out to canmore is awesome! a few places are a bit rough but the road rules

Highway 99 from Cache Creek to Whistler was a fun drive.
Then on the way home take the #1 to Cache Creek again was also a good drive.

Old Banff Coach Road is good fun but you have to look out for the coppers. Last summer I remember seeing a Ferrari f350 plowed into the ditch right after a hard right turn.
