                Re: Batman: Dark Knight

i am stoked for this batman for many reasons. but on a whole, i am sick of comic book movies. seriously, no one has any original ideas anymore so they just adapt an existing comic book into a movie for guaranteed money. it is getting ridiculous. Batman was one of the first comics to do it though, back in the Michael Keaton days. Spiderman brought it back so I'll give them props. everyone else gets a thumbs down for me unless it was something very originally done like sin city or maybe even V for Vendetta.

                  Re: Batman: Dark Knight

Watched it yesterday and I must agree with Kor. It was good, but not that good. I think all of the hype really ruined it for me as I went in with really high expectations.

I would still give it an 8 out of 10 thou

I don't want to delve into specifics because I don't want to ruin the movie for anyone else.

I Haven't seen the film yet, so i can't say much...(though i do plan to see it soon)

I just don't like all the hype surrounding the film simply because Heath Ledger died...i believe that he may have given the performance of his career, but what what about Christian Bale??
He's the reason there's a new Batman movie in the first place, thanks to his performance in Batman Begins...why isn't he getting any credit?
                    Starting from Square One...

                        Re: Batman: Dark Knight

Saw this last night and was blwon away by it, its not the typical hollywood movie and script and i think thats what makes it difficult to compare, like Iron man was a good movie but crap plot, typical hwood tragedy-gets captured, esacpes makes armour, big fight, love interest. I liked the film but the plot made it poor. Batman however seemed to be more of a progressing truer to how things might happen type plot that took nerve to use. Either way thought it was a great film, best comic book film yet.

Deffo cant wait for watchmen, that looks like it will be another thats very true to the character and nvel intention. love the novel, read it many times and actually bought it 3 times coz lost some or didnt have copies returned by friends in the past.

                        Batman was great!
