  • Batman: Dark Knight

For those that haven't seen this GO AND SEE IT.
This is the BEST comic movie of all time simply put.

Its actually quite sad that Ledger died because his role is simply amazing!

5/5 no questions asked on this one.

If they can keep the new series like this and not go all campy like the 90's ones then we'll have amazing movies to keep going on.

yup, amazing movie. I went at midnight on thursday when it first came out and people where waiting in line 3 hours before seating. it was nuts.

Heath played an amazing joker (best villian ever!) The best superhero movie yet.

I can't wait to see this movie. Everyone I've spoken to who have seen it all say that it's the best movie they've seen in ages.

        Re: Batman: Dark Knight

        I didn't like it that much, 7/10

Joker is amazing but thats the only thing I liked about the movie. I give Joker 10/10 for acting and character.

Rest of movie, too long, poor/little character development, too plot driven, contrived and inconsistant plot details, plods along, not very good to poor acting, boring sets, uninspiring audio, effects only average...

Sorry Batman fans, I know I will get flamed, but this is not even in my top 3 comic book adaptations, nor is it the best Batman movie.

                Re: Batman: Dark Knight

I thought it was great for the batman persona and I really like the direction that the last Batman movie set and this one followed. Everyone is forgetting about the great acting by Harvey Dent (whatever the actors name is) as he carried a large amount of the movie. Personally I think I have to go with Ironman as my favorite hero movie so far this year. I can't really say why. I think comparing the two movies is like apples and oranges though.

                    Re: Batman: Dark Knight

I think its easy to forget how many good comic book movies there are out there.

Also I think a lot of people are just buying into the hype on this one.

The last Batman movie was better.

Spider Man was my favorite all time comic adaptation. It was pretty true to the comic and a real achievement in terms of how they translated it to the big screen.

A lot of good movies you may not realize are comic book adaptations -

                    The Crow
                    Ghost World
                    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
                    The Rocketeer
                    Blade
                    Hellboy
                    V is for Vendetta
                    Sin City
                    300

                    etc.

If i have to see another spider man movie along the same lines as the first three i will shoot myself in the face they are that bad.

The rest of the movies on that list are good flicks big fan of the Crow it is a favorite of mine.

Still haven't seen the new batman so no comment on that but please never say any of the spider man movies are good as it makes baby jebus cry.

Edit: I forgot there is one good spider man out there go youtube italian spiderman and you will be amazed by what you find.

                          Re: Batman: Dark Knight

It also depends on how much you liked the comic growing up, I did not like spider man so I just found the movie painful to watch and could not make it past the first 20minutes of the 3rd one. I really enjoyed the background story in Batman Begins and the fact they returned to making Batman a much more dark character. I have high expectations for this Batman!
