Wanted: Company to build Enterprise Web Portal

Hey guys,

Looking for input for those of you connected with the tech/design companies in town...


Need someone to build me an enterprise web portal. Probably built on top of some kind of CMS or portal framework (commercial or open source) and will need to include some B2B connectivity and automation... integrate with eCommerce modules for online payment, integration or export to our billing and invoicing system... Support for user and group based customized views.

Recommend me a person or a company? Has to have done something like this before and have real experience building something this complicated. Should have experience using 3rd party or open source frameworks or cms systems or portals, even just something like Joomla?

This is a paying contract for my company not some small thing.

Recommend me someone?

Have you considered Sharepoint 2007? Its actually VERY good for collaboration, 100x better than 2003

edit: Actually read your entire post this time and I suppose, unless you are using enterprise standard ecommerce stuff it may not be worth it to try and integrate with MS

Definitely networking. Good to know some people thru networking that is in every trade, knows all kind of people,cars, etc.
