    currently, f1 engines are 2.4L V8's, 700hp at around 19k rpm!

    the FIA is looking to change that in a few years, make them super efficient and environmentally friendly, here is one speculation:

    2.2 turbo V6 biodiesel @ 10k rpm. lol ok we'll see about that.

    its all still high level speculation. there is a big push by the manufacturers for them to stop changing the rules every bloody year to allow teams with less of an R&D budget to actually play on a level playing field.

    while change is good...changing every year is extremely expensive and is costing the teams like Force India big time

      I heard ethanol was more likely an upcoming change, but yes they should just let things be for a couple years and let the competition develop!

        Its also widely discussed that the teams are going to usurp bernie when his seat comes up in 2009 and put in a board made up of several team reps to run the show
