bbs rc's, are they painted or polished?

are the newer RC's painted or polished? i got 2 wheels fixed by AWR, but the color is off. i knew it would be because they are really shinny the original ones. ideas? is there a place that polishes wheels? or anyone here by chance? maybe i will get all 4 redone so they match?

Not sure what you mean by the "newer RC's", but I know that 337 RC's have a shot-peened finish, and the ones on GLI's are plain old painted. Hope that helps, if not, it's a random factoid that might help someone else

From what I recollect from the 'tex, the 337' RC's have a shotpeened finish. (cannot be refinished). The ones found on the GLi, can be refinished.

He is a nice guy - show him the differences in the two wheels and ask him.

When he fixed my Enkei wheels he made it impossible to tell which wheel had been painted.
