I could use some advice to washing and detailing a black car. The Coupe is the first black car I've owned, and I'm struggling to keep it clean....

Black is such a B!tch to take car of......but its soooooo sexy when it is well cared for. On the flip side, its made me much more knowledgeable about detailing.

What steps were you taking? What detail products?

black is good for the 5 seconds after you wash it and clean it, right before you start it and drive it.

I love clean black cars, but like RONDAL mentioned, as soon as its moved its dirty again.
Im gonna need a power polish on my car soon here. Damn swirl scratches....

Just have to invest in the whole multi-stage paint process... clean, clay, polish, glaze/sealant, wax, multiple coats... comes out like that every time.
