Since Winter is just around the corner.

Twas The night before Christmas, when all through the Great North,
TDI customers were shivering, waiting for heat to come forth.

The glow plugs were hung by the Chimney with care,
In hopes that the new duty cycle would not cause the alternator despair.

The Jettas were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of front end covers danced in their heads.

And mamma in her ‘snowmobile suit, and I in mine,
Were ready to head out for a long winters drive,

When out in the driveway there arose such a clatter,
Twas daddy starting the TDI, “those sounds are normal, nothings the matter”.

Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Questioning how long the thick smoke would last.

The moonlight could not reach the new-fallen snow
As the thick smoke screen blocked all the objects below.

When what to my wondering eyes should show,
But a man carrying a hose, a front end cover, and software that changes the glow.

I knew in a moment this must be Saint Heat,
Since he yelled “No longer will you have to depend on the heat from your seat”

I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a warm night”
