Help Needed!!

Hey Guys,

I need some help. Badly. I'm moving from my apartment in the NE on friday afternoon to my new apartment in the SW. My dilemma is that everyone i call, Budget, U-Haul, etc dont have ANY trucks available friday so I have no way to move.

I can fit everything in my golf, except my mattress and couch. Does anyone have a truck or larger SUV that might be able to haul this stuff? I'm willing to pay alot of money for the help. Please anything..

don't u hauls just have little trailers you can pick up at gas stations and stuff? you maybe have to hire a moving company and just bite the bullet and pay them for all your stuff.. i just moved and had to get my parents to come here with my dads dodge truck to haul all my **** .. good luck man

a moving company? that'll cost hundreds i'm thinking, when i only need a couch/mattress moved :(

called a couple more places, there's not a single rental truck available in southern alberta apparently. what a perfect time i picked to move. i'm crying myself to sleep right now.

just called a couple moving places, they all want $300 and can't even guarantee a time they'll be there. thats more than i bought my couch/mattress for.

You could pull a classic move... and tie your couch to the top of your roof on your dub. Just cover the paint/metal with towels...

Didn't they do something like this in a VW commercial? lol

What day are you moving simon? And at what time? I may be able to get a hold of our Yukon for a little while.

edit - Im retarded - FRIDAY AFTERNOON. I could maybe help you out on Saturday during the day. I'll find out if the truck's going to be around then or if my mom's working.

I'm off on Friday and I was going to grab a truck to pick up some stuff from home depot so I can help if you need! I also live in the SW and work is in the NE so it might work out perfect. I met you once at Fifth Ave before you went back to Brandon! Let me know if I can help!

Thanks for the offer Ginch, sorry I couldn't reply but I didnt have the internet when I came to calgary so I couldnt even see your message. One of my old roommates knew a guy with a truck, so I threw him a $50 bill and he threw me the keys. It all worked out well, but thanks for the offer!
