  • Trying to burn a DVD....help....

I downloaded this DVD, and it all came in not in an ISO file, which always confuses me.....Here are the screen caps of what I have gotten......WTF do I do with all of this to burn it to a DVD and get it to work?? I would really like this ripped (its a fascinating series if anyone wants to watch an autopsy....)

Those are raw dvd files, so you need DVDshrink or DVD Santa. It's just like ripping an actual dvd.

I have Nero, but don't know the steps to accomplish that? Just open up the regular DVD burning interface and drag and drop?

yes but set it to burn an actual DVD.

make an ISO DVD and go at 'er.

Re: Trying to burn a DVD....help....

let me try to post this again - last time i tried, i wouldn't let me..

I personally think that Nero is garbage.. it's bloated, it tries to take over your computer and it comes with tons useless add-ons.. of course it's not free either..

if anyone is interested in a good burning program, I highly recommend InfraRecorder http://infrarecorder.sourceforge.net/

It's free, open source and it works great... It's also standalone program so no installation needed.

as for your dvd, just burn those files into a dvd format and you should be fine.. or you can use VLC player to just watch it on your computer directly without having to burn the dvd

                  hope this helps!

I think Nero v6 and before were pretty good, v7 is terrible. if you buy a new dvd drive etc you often get a OEM free license of Nero and then its a good deal but it does carry some uneeded 'extras'

I use Deamnon tools to mount images etc very good package
