I don't thiink the stretch is that much different. Its just that 512's look a lot more stretched due to the side wall and rim protector!

Right but since the whole business is about looks, just scroll up and down to see the difference. So much inner rim is showing vs being flush (but still stretched)

I think that is more attributed to the design of the lip of the rim more than the tire itself.
