IPOD on 2003 nav???!

so i've been trying to find out on the forums what the best way to hook up my ipod to my nav deck is ... looks like the 'dice' adapter is a popular choice.. is this the way to go?? also.. is it easy to install?

if it matters it's for a 2003 GTI

i have the vw oem ipod adapter for sale. $175. its brand new, never used it.

its just PnP. take out old radio, plug this in where the cd changer goes, run cable to where you want to keep the ipod. thats it.
