Car wash disaster...

So I decided to wash the car at one of the coin washes close by to save some $$ and came out with $600 worth of paint damage as my front bumper started to peel... I am so pissed off its not funny... Pics below...

PS Our complex is pretty much jetta city. There are four jetta owners that live in our complex, all different colors. Silver jetta not in the picture..

Yea no kiddin! It started out as mud that I scratched off then got annoyed then one thing led to the other...... Lesson learned for sure

Damn that sucks!! Did you have the pressure washer set to like a pin like stream where it would nearly put a hole in something?

My building has like 2 Silver Stone Jetta's. There is also an old Bug parked in the underground parking.

I think I am the only Golf owner in the building!

Bring the car to "Chippy Auto Appearance". They could probably fix that for $200 or less!

When I got out of high school we had a second house that we were flipping, anyways we had a pressure washer to take the paint off the house so as I was taking the paint off the house I got the idea to wash my mom’s new car... turns out if it will take paint off of a house it will take paint off of a car

I know this wont make you feel better but this reminds me of that car commercial with the guy cleaning his house or whatever and a bird craps on his corvette that has pristine paint, so he takes the pressure washer and just gently squeezes the handles and it blasts a massive chunk of paint off the hood, lol. The look on his face is hilarious!

But yeah sorry, that does suck I have to admit though. You didnt hit your car with the wand by accident or anything like that did you? Just thought i'd ask...

you wanna see my front, gotta get it repainted soon, its so cracked that the water got behind the paint over winter n the ice has pushed big pieces of paint off
