People always like to stretch the truth. It's partly human nature, partly wanting to be better than someone else. Whatever it is it's been going on for decades.
Only problem is you gotta be careful how far you stretch the truth, and in this day and age where you choose to do it.
With the internet and social networking you can literally dig up any information with the right amount of looking.
Case in point why you shouldn't lie on car forums.....it's a bunch of guys with too much time on their hands to go and pwn you.

This is possibly the greatest thread of 2008, almost as good as the guy on the NSX forum who tried telling people they could buy an NSX by playing blackjack, only for the forum to dig up he never bought a car, and he was a pedophile.
