  • Edmonton roads... good god

I always forget how bad they are, until I go back for a visit. Was up visiting the folks this weekend and was appalled with what you poor bastards have to put up with (keeping in mind I was one of those poor bastards for many years before moving to Calgary). The worst thing is how many "quick dips" there are in the roads, especially along the whitemud and terwilleger. So brutal with the coil overs. Don't know if I'd even have lowered my car if I still lived there.

honestly I dont find calgary much better. They are both fucking terrible, but I have done more damage to my car on potholes in Calgary. I know Edmontons are worse, but not much.

I still think Edmonton is worse, but Calgary is definitely getting super ****. I can't believe that strip of 12 ave downtown where the water main burst and they did the quick patch. What a joke.

someone who has actualy driven it should call the city. after reading that thread about the city not paying for damages cause they didn't "know" about stuff, i've just started calling them about all the crap they have to fix.
this way if something happens its covered.
we all should start doing this. it takes less than 2 minutes with 3-1-1.

Just say flat out that the road crew did a piss poor sub par patch job.

the city of calgary roads section can seriously suck my wang. bunch of shovel leaning hillbillies that don't know how to do a job properly.

I've called a couple times this year. Seems hit or miss. One thing I reported was fixed, while another that has been bad for two years has been left as is.

you dont want the union suck holes, and city workers on here to have a big hissy fit again

Hmmm, can't shake the feeling that Dean's referring to me...

Rondal's got it right. Call 311 and report. Make sure you ask for the "non-shovel leaning union suck holes". I hear they do better work.

How about southbound sarcee trail between 16ave and bow trail. Huge dip in both lanes that has been there and been marked with a bump sign for about a year and is getting progressively worse.
