I'm looking to build a custom heat sheild for my car. Nothing too complicated. Was wondering if anyone on here through work or their spare time has access to the stuff needed to do this kind of work.

Re: Anyone on here do carbon fibre work?
carbon doesn't transfer heat, aluminum does....as does fibreglass and other metals, which is why i wanted to go that route.
rob we will have to talk. the design is very simple and is just to isolate the intake away from the side of the engine.
If we could make up a mold for mine i am sure we could build a few for others fairly easily.Team Highschool

For it to be most effective I would use both, Email me a sketch or picture of it and we can sort something out.
