Thats cold.
Now I cant remember my science at this time but I think when it hits -60 when you spit it freezes before it hits the ground. Causing it to shatter. I think that the same if you pee.
Anyone know foresure out there? -

HOLY GOD.. yea no mail or garbage pickup for me today.. too bad us office folk can't take cold days off.. i wonder how many schools were closed.. i grew up in rural AB and as soon as the weather got to be like -30 schools were closedComment

No city schools were closed and they won't either because some kids always show up. Finding a locked school is no good with kids trapped outside. A few rural schools did though.Geoff

I know alot of the schools up in the north were closed. This morning edmonton was at -51 with the windchill!
Linden, Trochu and I think Rocky Mountain areas schools were closed, amoungst others.
Alot of others, like here dont have the buses running either-Drew
