make your goddamn trains work. I spent over an hour freezing my face, ears and toes off waiting for a train that never came. And when FINALLY did...it was so full i would have needed a cattle prod to try and make room.

i had a good/bad experience this morning.. taking the bus in.. they had extra buses to help everyone out.. GOOD

had to take the train to the NW at like 830.. waited downtown on the train for 30 minutes because somehow when its cold the trains break down now too .. BAD

Radio station said it was the switch gear in the ground that was the problem. Trains are fine, but they can't get the switches to move. I'll be there was some poor dude out there with a big torch trying in vain to thaw things.

I have been told it was not put underground do to the number natural springs we have in Calgary, the water would create major problems when installing and up keeping the train.

so i must have been imagining all those trains that went past Fish Creek Lacombe this morning that said Out of Service...

as soon as it gets cold outside the trains start to have more (than the usual) mechanical failures.

This morning sucked balls for sure. I stood outside for 25 minutes freezing my balls off waiting for my express bus that never showed. I ended up taking the non-express and transferring at sandstone which got me to work over an hour late.

lol i used to get free parking downtown with my last company.. and in a private spot in a heated underground lot.. i take the bus now and yes my face is cold :(
