Cancun hotel - Riu Cancun. Great pool area, great food, great location/vicinity to night life. Beach a little on the small side, but vicinity to night life doesn't get much better.

Riu Caribe was also a great hotel, great food and awsome beach. Gorgeous events staff, but farther from the night life. 30 cents for a 10 minute bus ride to night life, bus stop right outside the hotel.

i'm going there as of friday, it was just under 1k for the week. we booked 2-3 months ago.
