OMG i'm really pissed off now.. i got a new 360 back after my original one lasted just under a year and started flashing red on me.. well i get my replacment yada yada tested yada ******** back and i've played it for a whole 3 days and the POS is flashing red again!!! WTF MS.. c'mon! i'm going to call and ask for an elite to come back my way as this is pure BS

lol no thanks.. i called MS they are sending me another replacement package and were 'sorry' the girl was out of the US and said now in the US people are sending back the power supply too as they find this is causing issues now!! but not yet in canada so i have to just do the console again.. sigh...

buy an elite then.. its odd tho.. i had the thing on for like 2 hours flashing red.. just shut it off and booted it back up and played a game for 30 minutes and it was fine.. SIGH

There is a new chip set which is better but still not 100% rock solid. I plan on upgrading the fans and doing some other mods to mine soon as there is no way I will ever get warranty lol.
Ryan I don't think they are going to give you much more then another month of live, some people are on their 12th replacement box...

i got my 360 on launch day, it lasted about 10 months. i got my second 360 it lasted me 1 week. i'm on my third and it's been over a year, the only problem is that it is super loud. i'd by a ps3 but i already have games for 360 and there's nothing worth getting a ps3 for...yet.

I personally hate the modability of the 360, mainly because of cheating on live, it's so pointless and ruins the games for everyone. I can't help but smile every time I hear about another rash of bannings.
