Thats why I decided not to cheap out and save an extra couple bucks to buy newer games. Its well worth it

there was a paint ball game a while back that got a similar review, and shortly after there was a rebuttal. essentially, the game team had to have a game out in 6 weeks, including the design for the packaging. In the end, the programmers new it sucked, but couldn't do anything about it. why the producer bothers releasing something like this is beyond me.
