  • Bought a box of cigars in Nicaragua...want to sell...need advice

I bought a box of cigars in Nicaragua a few months ago and now I think I want to sell them. I was told that they are a good brand but im not sure what they are worth here. Also, I have no idea how to go about selling them. I don't think E-Bay allows people to sell cigars.

Hell, Im not even sure what brand they are. I believe the brand is called Alteza and the style is called Churchill....or vice versa.

The box says vintage reserve maduro. The cigars themselves are very long and the box contains 20 cigars.

    Any help would be great.

Sell to a friend or maybe Craigslist?
OR just walk into cigar shops

Just do some research on google, or call a cigar shop and ask them their opinion.

I buy cigars here and there, and from what i know,"maduro" is the type of wrapper that is used for the cigar..but anyways.

kinda need more info to tell you a price, maybe a picture of the box or if you have opened it and picture of the ring on the cigar.

But i know that JOYA DE NICARAGUA ANTANO, go for about 93-105usd for a box of 20, same maker of the cigars you might have.

Like i said before if you can get some pictures that would help out a bunch. As for going to a shop, that might be a good idea. \just dont tell them you are selling, just say you are looking for them. i had a few bad expirences with selling cigars to shops.

          hope that helps you out.

make sure you are storing them in a humid place so that they dont dry out. otherwise they are going to worthless.
Either put them in a humidor if you have one or create a swamp cooler with a bucket of water and a fan in a small space. This will ensure they dont dry out too quickly.

I figured out more info. The brand is called Alteza Super Premium Cigars. Churchill is the size and they measure 6-7/8x48.

Apparently the box is made of 100% Nicaraguan cedar. I have not opened the box and it is sealed.

hmm, well the Alteza Super Premium i really havent found then for sale here yet. but they are a really good cigar, pretty strong and really are for ppl that smoke often.

if you do sell ill be down for three of four.

shouldnt really have a problem finding ppl to buy a few here and there. but if you dont have a humidor, you should figure something out, like rondal said.
