    Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone knows where I could buy updated Nav disc for the Jetta. I think my current one is from 04 or something because a lot of areas don't show up!

    Thanks in advance!

Ask Bart, I'm not sure if there is anything more current than you already have. Kyle's old car right?

hi derek, here is something you can do: http://vwnavi.com/forums/showthread....3322#post23322

read the 2nd post on that page and on.

basically what you have to do is buy CD maps for a 2004 Touareg and mod them. you can buy all 10 new for $250, which is north america, or just canada for $129. maybe you can find a used one on ebay for cheaper. 4b seems to be the newest version, i think they came out this year sometime.

since the nav you have was never offered in north america, we have to edit the disc to make the nav think its using the disc which was made for it specifically.

Thanks for the link Bart. The only problem is that what I read in the link is absolutely chinese to me. Damn I wish I was smarter when it came to computer stuff. I'd be most happy to buy the discs and have someone modify them for me. Any takers?

          Thanks again Bart!

Bringing this back from the dead...

Is it just the '04 touareg disk that works? Or does an '08 touareg disk work, too?
