I am a fan of Skylines, but not that wowed by the look of this one, it will be a great car and we should see them here too, but just not sure about it.

I actually heard that this rev of the Skyline will be the first one that will be sold in NA. So that those of us over here who adore the vehicle and what it can do won't have to wait 15 years to import one.

Yes the new GTR is supposed to be a World car and sold in most markets, I would say if you don't have a deposit down yet you might be in for a bit of a wait!

See I'm torn on the look, to a degree I really like the aggressive nature of it, yet at the same time what I truly appreciate are clean lines. So I've yet to have a final verdict on the look. As for performance, ****. I doubt I even have to say a word.

I agree with Blair, I like Skylines but this body is just a little to curvy to keep the classic flavor. If the front and the rear where a bit flatter it may look way better. As for performance I think we will be able to expect huge things if it is to keep up with its heritage.

They let Autoweek drive it, and a 997 turbo, and the Autoweek driver liked the GT-R better.
Yeah, but when you drive a 997 you look like a successful guy who gets lots of p...y and in a GT-R you look like an asian kid who drifts around in parking lots.
I know its fast and probably handles good but I dont like the image of the GT-Rs and I think they looks horrible. Save your money and buy an R8
Recent reports indicate the GT-R lapped the Nurburgring's Nordschleife in 7 min 35 seconds — placing it in some pretty elite company. That time trails the Pagani Zonda F by two seconds and the Koenigsegg CCR by one, but the GT-R lapped the track faster than a Mercedes SLR McLaren (7 min 40 sec), Porsche 911 Turbo (7 min 40 sec) and the Corvette Z06 (7 min 42 sec).
