  • Wiper Blade Review!

    Hey guys

Over the weekend i took a trip to cosco and bought those new michelin wiper blades. They are like the flat audi style but universal for any car. Wow do they work fantastic! install was a quick snap and i have never had wiper blades that work so good! ONly 14 bucks each. Just thought i would let you boys know!

I had those on both my jetta & the wife's Pacifica.

I dont know what it is, but the ones on my jetta only lasted through the winter while the ones on the Pacifica are still great.

I replaced the wipers on the Jetta with Bosch Icons. So far they are the best I have had.

I bought the same style "Rain-X" brand from Walmart about 6 months ago, THE BEST wipers I have evar had. They were only like, $13 bucks each or something.

I tried those Trico Inovision blades (the single solid piece of rubber) and they were just useless. I had to bail on them after a week.

OEM blades are like 5 dollars more than the inserts we used to have to buy so I just buy a set of those each year.

I picked up the Bosch AeroTwin wipers for the Smart and they are way way better then the stock ones, but a little pricey but so is everything for a Smart.

I really like them. Although I got the size the book said and it hits. What size are the driver side? (mk4)

Oh ya and the other thing is its costco so when they crap out you just keep the recipt and get new ones.

I have a feeling that with the flexible blade wipers, the amount of pressure that the arm is pushing them down with REALLY will change their effectiveness.

I have found that with Costco ones they did not really fit the contour of the windsheild and the passenger side did not clean well at the margins due to a lack of pressure on the edge.

I do prefer these though. I used to run winter blades with the rubber boot, but they were always lifting at highway speeds.

So far I have been really pleased with the Bosch Icon blades.
