On the stock MK3 there is a lever which you pull on the stock seat to allow the seat to slide forward and back in the front. this lever is attached to a pin on a sping which goes through two pieces of metal and holds the seat in place once you get it where you want it.
now i have the sparco's in my car i use this pin to anchor the front mounting part of my seat base. problem is the piece where it mounts isn't quite snug and is allowing a little bit of up and down movement, so when i hit the gas the chair rocks back a little ways.
I need to get a metal insert machined up in a CNC or something, its not big at all and have one designed so that it can be copied. Who could do this for me and weld it into place?
