Claiming hail damage?

Well after detailing the wifeys car today i notice the friggin thing has hail damage probably from one of the storms last month.. so how do i go about claiming this with insurance even though it happened a month ago

i could always say it hailed this weekend where we were or something like that .. the whole roof has a bunch of little dimples that are visible to the eye.. not so much to the touch

You first owner? We just had hail in Airdrie/Crossfield tonight if you care...

yea first owner and the car is a lease so we'll get totally F'd returning it in the spring.. i don't want to screw up my plans to get a nice s4 avant!

If you're first owner, insurance shouldn't care as it obviously wasn't claimed before by the PO. They just don't want to write a cheque, then have the same car sold and insured under someone else and re-claimed.
