Re: Job Oppertunity - Land Surveying

I know this is once again a long shot, but here we go!

We need an intermediate level Civil Engineering Tech. Requires solid knowledge of Autocad Civil 3D. Highway design knowledge is an asset, as is analysis of 3D models within Autocad. Geomatics/Land Surveying knowledge is also a plus. The position is in Calgary. It will be interesting work if this is up your alley.

Obviously, this is just a brief overview - no need to go in to too much detail on a car forum!

If this is something that you or someone you know has experience with, please send me an email or PM and I can give you more information.

        Thanks guys!

Why does this happen every year? Is this a temp position?

No, it is full time permanent. The last few years we have been growing a fair bit, so there are a few new hires every year. The folks that have been hired over the last couple years for this work are still with us. It is usually this time of year that I post because this is when we forecast for the busy spring and summer.

                Cheers

Re: Job Oppertunity - Land Surveying

Our Civil Engineering company is also looking for a Project Manager fairly urgently. This requires and Engineering degree, and a few years experience. I know there are some pretty bright engineers on here... Likely already have good positions though, I'm sure.

I know less about this role than I do the surveying position, but if there are guys out there interested, I'm happy to put them in touch with the right people.

                  Cheers!

You should get someone to correct the spelling in the title.
