    Re: iPhone question

Oh ya and I may eat my words on this come friday but apple is still insisting they wont be short come friday. So much so Steve jobs just gave all 17k of the apple workforce a free 8gb iphone. I believe they said like what 3 million for launch. I wouldnt get my hopes to high on ebaying it.

          Re: iPhone question

Well whats even worse is how Rogers finally came out and said they have not talked to apple about the iphone. Im doubtful as to the ipone making an appearance anytime soon. Apple has built a device that relies on data, rogers would have to give a lot like at&t did in terms of data plans, unlimited data is not something you really see in canada. One intersting thing thouhg is the fact that rogers has the only GSM network. We shall see but im certainly not holding my breathe.

A friend of a friend who works for an Apple subsidiary in Vancouver just got a free iPhone... I guess employees are getting them. Funny thing is I am not even sure you can activate it in Vancouver?

YA the plans are unreal compared to canada. Always have been thugh but the iphone plans are more so then before. If the iphone comes to canada its going to change the game a lot.

The unlimited limited plan. wow lol. Bell used to offer a unlimited unlimited plan back a while ago. Use to have it. I can go through data like tommorow though with tethering. Somethign y ou dont have to do on th iphone because of the fact it runs the "real" internet

How do you hit 12-18? Web browsing?

And how much is your plan?

Problem is that EDGE is only 30 KB/s max and in practice if you get 15 MB/s it can take you like 3 mins to load a web page. Depends on the page of course but nonetheless.
