For example 130km/hr in an 80km/hr or 150km/hr on deerfoot would not just be a ticket or a suspension, they want to seize and crush your car. No matter whether you are street racing or not, the move is to say that 50km/hr over automatically means a street racing conviction.

This has happened, its on the books!
Police in ON can seize your car without a warrant and without even witnessing or having evidence that you engage in street racing. All they need is a modded car that they can say has "probably been built" for street racing.
In reality, grandpa in his cadillac won't get his car crushed for street racing if he does 50km/hr over, they will just give him a speeding ticket, but any modded car that speeds over 50km/h over the limit will be cited for street racing and seized on the spot. Double standard.
