Re: Anybody buy forza 2 yet?
I went in to F/S while the wife was in linens and things. I was going to buy just the wheel as I really want it and was going to hold off on Forza. Once I saw the wheel on sale (and the game is 59 right now) I walked out with both.
I actually really want to try the wheel on DiRT when it comes out.Jay

I never thought I'd say this but I think live really helps make the console for me. Especially if you have friends that game as you can do lots of co-op and vs. which is cool.
Anyway, I'm loving the wheel, so fun and you can really feel the changes as you upgrade the car. The force feedback seems pretty realistic too.
Bill, I think everyone is slower or "worse" with a racing wheel, no matter the game or platform. I just tell myself it's way more fun so I don't careJay

Re: Anybody buy forza 2 yet?
I need to try the wheel before I decide whether or not to get one. But so far I don't mind the controller; it's pretty easy to adjust the throttle / brakes with the triggers. Shifting can get a bit tricky sometimes though...
We need to organize a Eurodrivers Forza 2 night on Live.

Do you have an article on it? I've been curious how they "ban" people. I was pretty sure it was the live account but that was the old live.Jay

Re: Anybody buy forza 2 yet?
BTW, not sure if anyone on here will know this but.......
Are Renault Clio V6's really that horrible (ok, maybe hard is a better word) to drive? They seem like a fat pig, it can't turn in and gets the tail out with anything other than perfectly smooth throttle input? Not to mention it should be able to accelerate quicker than a VX220 or an Elise but it's not that much quicker.
I've always loved that car from the time it came out, not sure why just do. But man it's hard to drive, even in the original game it was tough.
I think my favorite stock car by far is the Lancia Delta Integrale(?)that I won. Man that car is fun, so much control (which can be felt with the wheel). And quick too, I want one!Jay
