CARFAX and Liens

So i still owe VW Finance some money, so I would assume this means they hold a lien on my car. I just ran carfax on my VIN and it doesn't mention it. Is this something Carfax covers typically?

I think (in Canada anyways) - Carfax misses a lot of detail.

I used Carproof.ca recently and there was a ton of detail that was missing from Carfax. It's pretty easy to find someone to run a Carfax, but I don't recall seeing a subscription style account for Carproof. So you prolly hafta pay...

Basically - if you are selling, recommend Carfax, if you are buying - use Carproof!
