Holy crap this game is going to consume me when it comes out. With the MS wireless racing wheel it is really intense. Turn off all the assists and you can really feel the physics engine in this game. The cars all have very different feels and with assists off, you have to actually win with skill, not with "riding the wall" style like in GT. The graphics are decent, but nothing mind blowing. The sound is VERY good. All the cars I've tried so far sounded great, and decently accurate. Anyhow, I'm going back to playing.....

too bad you cant play wirelessly with the wheel to take advantage of the force feedback.

What wheel do you have? My MS wireless racing wheel has full feedback in Forza 2.

so does mine, but if you unplug the wheel and run true wireless you dont get to take full advantage of the force feedback motors. They kill the batteries too fast. If you plug in you get full use of it however.

can't seem to crack the magical minute. can run consistent 1:00.XXX laps however

i ran a 57.994 last night in the porsche no driivng aids or driving line.

beat that one suckas. it took me forever to beat the magical minute but once i did i can do it every lap now. its the first and last turn that are key. you can only go so fast through the uphill middle section but those two corners on and off the straight make or break your time. Its crucial to nail the final turn so you carry full speed onto the straight. you should cross the start line doing 131mph, before i could only manage 122mph at the line. Braking into the 1st turn should literally see you go in as wide as you can and brake while turning all the way to the apex.

lets see some other times. the best my roommate can do is a 1:02.XXX
